Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with Sakura Haven Boutique. We want you to love your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and cancellations work in our store.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By ordering from us, you agree to the terms below, in addition to our Terms of Service.


1. Where Our Products Ship From

Sakura Haven Boutique is an online boutique working with carefully selected manufacturing partners.

  • All products are produced and shipped from our warehouses and factories in China.

  • Returns must be sent back to our warehouse in China; the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer (see Section 4).

We display approximate shipping times at checkout; these may vary depending on your location and the carrier.


2. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the conditions below:

  • You contact us within 14 days of the delivery date (based on the tracking information).

  • Items are unused, unwashed, and unworn, with all original tags and packaging still attached.

  • The item is not listed as “final sale”, “non-returnable”, or similar at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or that are sent back without prior approval.


3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, some items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

  • Intimates, bodysuits, swimwear, lingerie

  • Earrings and certain accessories that come into direct contact with the body

  • Gift cards

  • Any “final sale” or heavily discounted clearance items (as specified on the product page)


4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping cost for change-of-mind, wrong size, or similar reasons.

  • We do not provide prepaid return labels. You may choose any trackable courier service to send the parcel back to our warehouse in China.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or when an item is confirmed to be faulty/incorrect.

If customs duties or additional charges are incurred when a parcel is returned from your country to China, these may be deducted from your refund.


5. Refund Amounts for Returns

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item and whether it has been approved.

For eligible returns:

  • We will refund 70% of the original item value, excluding any shipping fees paid on the original order.

  • The remaining 30% is retained as a restocking and handling fee to cover warehousing, quality control, and processing costs.

Refunds are issued to the original method of payment only. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If local consumer laws in your country require a higher refund amount for certain types of returns (for example, faulty items), we will comply with the applicable law.


6. Order Cancellations

Because orders are processed quickly with our partner factories and warehouses in China, we cannot guarantee cancellation before dispatch.

  • If you contact us to cancel before your order is processed (e.g., within a very short window), we will do our best to stop it.

  • If we are able to cancel, or if you cancel after the order has already been processed/packed, you will be eligible for a refund of 70% of the original item value. Any shipping fees are non-refundable.

If the order has already shipped, you may:

  1. Accept delivery and then request a return (see Sections 2–5), or

  2. Refuse/return the parcel and treat it as a standard return. Once received back in China, we will refund 70% of the item value, minus any additional shipping or customs charges incurred.


7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction matters to us, and we always aim to resolve issues fairly.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days if:

  • The item is faulty or damaged; or

  • You received the wrong item, size, or color.

We may ask for clear photos or videos of the issue so we can assess it properly.

If we confirm that the item is faulty or that an error was made by Sakura Haven Boutique, we will:

  • Offer a replacement, store credit, or refund; and

  • Cover reasonable return shipping costs where required, or in some cases allow you to keep or dispose of the item instead of returning it (at our discretion).

This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.


8. Exchanges

At this time we do not process automatic exchanges.

If you need a different size, color, or style:

  1. Request a return for the original item (subject to this policy).

  2. Place a new order for the item you want.

This ensures the size/variant you want does not sell out while we process the return.


9. How to Start a Return

To start a return:

  1. Email us at Support@sakurahavenboutique.com with:

    • Your full name

    • Order number

    • Item(s) you wish to return

    • Reason for the return

    • Photos, if there is a quality or damage issue

  2. If your return is approved, we will send you the return address for our warehouse in China and instructions for packaging your item.

  3. Ship the item using a trackable service and keep your postal receipt and tracking number. We are not responsible for items lost in transit when being returned to us.

Returns sent to the wrong address or without prior approval may not be processed or refunded.


10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund yet:

  1. First check your bank or card account again.

  2. Then contact your bank or credit card company – it may take some processing time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at Support@sakurahavenboutique.com with your order number and return tracking details.
